Back to Serving and Football

No rest for the weary traveler. I had a ton of laundry to do from vacation. Halfway through my first of seven loads, my dryer, yes the used one I just bought in June, died. Uuugghhh. Oh well, it just meant I would have to spread the loads out over the week, along with Vinde, portuguese classes, wiffle ball, and tennis. Trevor had offered our house for the Packers/Eagles game, you know the one we all tried getting tickets to back in June but couldn’t. So we hosted a watch party for about 22 people instead. Dinner was ready at 6pm. The plan was to play games until the game started around 9pm.

But we just ended up hanging out instead. The game wasn’t over until about 12:30am or so. Way past my bedtime.

I stayed up just to see us lose. Bummer, but everyone ate a bunch and had a fun time.

Despite the late night, we had to get up early because we had all day training on Saturday. I helped in kitchen. Tuck was our errands guy.

Trevor manned the grill.

Mason attended devotional training. It was a good day but we were beat.

Sunday we just took it easy. Ready for another week to start.
