Besides all the visitors and traveling this month, there was still plenty of normal ministry to get done.

Tuck attended English Camp, which he loves. The other campers love having an American camping with them. So he gets lots of attention; which we all know he eats up.

Theater, chapel, and morning chants, oh my. I never have lots of photos because we’re not there, but I was able to grab a few from camp’s Instagram account.

Mason, as usual, would rather work camp than be a camper. He wasn’t actually thrilled when he was put on program, which means he’s out front running activities, etc. He likes backstage or kitchen. He sent us a text message letting us know someone in the kitchen had gotten sick and had to go home, so he was thankfully, his words not mine, chosen to fill that spot.

The week before camp, we took the interns out to Joanópolis. This has become a tradition, that we carried on after Tia Ellis left. We walked out to the waterfall, swam in the river, ate fried tilapia and mandioca, and watched out for werewolves. (I wrote about this city and the werewolves in a previous blog last year).

I love seeing the kids involved in learning about God’s Word.

Chris worked with the kids to fill out their Moyo child sponsor letters. After they were completed, she translated them and got them ready for us.

Ministry continued with some silly English class games…

And our end of the month party for our birthday month kids.

We started the month celebrating Cianna’s birthday. She is one of our second year interns.
We found out that I, and only me, have finally secured an appointment with the Federal Police…for AUGUST. This process started back in December of last year. Trevor still hasn’t able to schedule an appointment. Our attorney said she is checking everyday.
Hopefully, I’ll get caught up with the blog in May and June. Tchau.
