Well, today is the day we have been waiting for. All the planning, praying, organizing, and scheduling has come down to this moment. Honestly, I canโt believe we are actually doing this. It really started kicking in for me on Wednesday the 10th. It was a normal day at the ministry, except for the fact that I caught myself saying in conversation โyeah tomorrow is my last day here at the warehouse.โ It was never โrealโ until that moment I realized what I was saying. Up until then, this whole adventure had just been this crazy dream, born out of a road trip to Gettysburg and grown through vague conversations and YouTube videos (Thanks KYD!). My Last Day!!?? What am I doing? Hahaha!!

But here we are, all packed up and chilling in a hotel room in Huntsville, AL, our first of many stops. Tomorrow we hit the US Space and Rocket Center while they celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
There is a combined feeling of excitement and an uneasiness in all of us. No matter how many high fives and fist bumps me and the boys have, we all have the same look of uncertainty in our eyes. We are all wondering how this is going to go. I told everyone at work that we are either going to be back in a year, or in 3 weeks ๐ฌ
Iโm hoping for the year.
I am so excited for yaโll. I am sure there will be days of โtestingโ, but what a journey. You and the kids will remember forever. Enjoy every part of it.
